I make no secret of the fact that while I am happy living in Charleston, my heart longs for Asheville. Having grown up in Anderson, South Carolina, I grew up seeing the mountains on the horizon on a clear day from the right locations in town.
We’ve been plotting for a while now about how we could live (eventually) in Asheville, North Carolina. I got tired of waiting and this week we’ve begun steps to get us further along the path of life in Asheville.
We’re announcing that soon, Charleston PR & Design, LLC will have a division in Asheville, named appropriately, Asheville PR.
Just this past week we polished up a logo and began working on our new division’s website. We even have a bright, shiny new Asheville phone number, 828-333-4642. Call me. I’ll answer.
It’s so funny that you posted this today, because I looked at MTM this morning over coffee and said that we needed to just get something on our property and quit pussy-footing around. I’m tired of not being able to go up there.

Jenn, We expect this will be an incremental process. We hope to gain a few clients in the Asheville area, and then gradually build the business there while keeping the business here.
