Smithem, the founder of SM&PR, is an industry veteran of the world of public relations and marketing in the Carolinas.  She served as Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Summerville Homes, LLC, a regional volume homebuilding company in the southeastern United States.  She is the Connection Maven for a number of clients in Charleston, SC. Her primary expertise is the development of marketing and public relations plans. She has expertise in developing intriguing promotions to drive short term sales as well as expertise in providing research to assist with the evaluation brands, products and position.
